It seems the statue of Dutch painter Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn made himself a few friends since the last time I walked through this square in Amsterdam. This was how Rembrandt’s army looked on a soggy evening back in September.
Amsterdam Centraal is a glorious building during the day and its surrounding are differently intriguing at night, especially after some light rain. Snapped this image during my visit to Europe this September.
Many of the exhibits at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam this past summer were annotated with these little sticky notes of sorts, each with some artistic prose. The author of this particular message seems to like to keep it light.
