It took me a few seconds to figure out what was happening here. What creativity, ingenuity and perception it must have taken to create this violin using a continuous piece of metal torn from that old Hoover. Spotted at National Museum Cardiff back in May.

Looking up, an opulent chandelier hangs from the high ceiling inside the summer smoking room at the top of Cardiff Castle’s clock tower. Along the walls closer to floor level, of which a small portion is visible in this image, the story of the mythical gods in the 12 zodiac signs is depicted in paintings and sculptures.

Part of the an exhibit at the Tate Modern in London which explores how media can be truly just noise, due to our inability to understand most foreign languages. Those speakers are continuously blasting our overlapping news reports in a multitude of tongues. The image was captured during my wander at the museum last weekend.
