Now this was a pleasant surprise: Real live farm animals at Versailles. Took a wrong turn walking to the Trianon palaces but with loads of goats, sheep and horses to look at, the half-hour-long detour was well worth it.

My portable camera comes with some cool special effects I don’t often use … what better time than a vacation to play a little.
This effect makes everything look like a miniature scene. This was shot from the Eiffel Tower, with every element looking even tinier than it already is.

It’s been raining a lot in Amsterdam since I got here, so it’s made it difficult to get loads and loads of good outside shots as I usually like to do. Here’s one taken from Westerkerk, between showers.
