This lovely complex next to the Vltava River in Prague, designed by Frank Gehry, is named the Dancing House — also known as Fred and Ginger.

When I came upon this conceptual sketch depicting a piece of stained glass at the National Gallery in Prague (Veletržní palác), I got the distinct impression I’d seen it somewhere else. I finally realized, sure enough, I’d walked past the real thing many times during my stay.

A portion of the John Lennon Wall in Prague. Painted over with new art by visitors, over and over again, there is practically nothing left of the original. (Some friends from the hostel went looking for any hint of a characteristic yellow submarine but came up empty after several minutes.)
