Got bored while stuck in traffic on Hwy. 1 near Golden, B.C., so I had some time to fool around with the camera. With some help from Mom, I found this interesting point of view as a result:

Double vision

Not Banksy by any stretch of the imagination — but still very cool graffiti in middle-of-nowhere B.C.
Got soap?
Spotted in Craigellachie, better know as the spot where Canadian Pacific’s Last Spike was hammered backed in 1885.

Took a few minutes just west of Creston, B.C., to snap a few shots with my cheap-o Canon portable digicam. This is one of my favourites from the set.

The mascots for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games were on hand in Castlegar, B.C., on Aug. 16, 2008, to help open the town’s new town hall and adjacent Spirit Square. Unfortunately for the mascots (and the actors playing them) it was about 38 degrees C at the time — roughly 100 degrees F.

How *not* to beat the heat
