While I was waiting for the clock tower climb and tour at Bath Abbey last month, I took a moment to admire the abbey’s stained glass and fan vault ceiling.

Those weird garden-shed-style structures on the boardwalk in the foreground, the stately historic homes and a rather ordinary looking tower block behind them all face the English Channel in Brighton. A quick snap taken toward end-of-day back in mid-May.
