London’s new tallest building, The Shard, was opened to the public this week. This is a view of the landmark as it was back in September October, from the observation platform at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
The Shard itself has an observation deck … I’ll be sure to stop by when I get back to London for my next visit.

I got quite a shock seeing this last time I was in London – I hadn’t been away that long, so I really thought it was a mirage of some type. London Kings X had the same effect – I came up from the underground and was a bit …. whoa… where am I?

That’s a really good pic you got of the Shard.. shame about the hospital next to it! We managed to go up the Shard with preview tickets.. was pretty neat but it’s a tad expensive. I made a video of our trip if you’re interested
