The truth is out there, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

An other-worldly being, carried on the shoulders of its owner, slips into frame as I was snapping shots of the Skyride at Calgary Stampede yesterday evening.

Calgary Stampede, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

To capture the image of fireworks, above, at the Calgary Stampede Sunday night, I got a little bit of help from a folded business card to help prop up my camera, below.

Spring blossoms, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Back when it seemed every second shrub in Calgary was bursting with flowers!

Bow Building, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

The Bow Building in downtown Calgary seen from a different angle — from my point of view anyhow. Here it is from its east side, flanked by the old downtown fire hall on the left and the North-West Travellers Building on the right. Tucked in behind bottom left is the new Telus Sky building, which is much taller than it appears here!

Peace Bridge, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

From a mid-spring wander along the Bow River in Calgary, found some new(ish) chairs scattered about the shore in the West Eau Claire area with a wonderful view of the Peace Bridge.
