Montreal artists have painted two giant portraits of singer Leonard Cohen as tributes, after his death in late 2016. The one above is on a building at boulevard Saint-Laurent Boulevard and rue Roy while the one below is found on rue Crescent below boulevard De Maisonneuve Ouest.

I’ve had a taste of all kinds of weather during my visit to Montreal. Recently, bouts of rain have started to erase much of the snow that’s fallen in the last couple of weeks. This photo was snapped almost two weeks ago — and today, there is no more snow clinging to trees.

There is definitely nothing bland about Montreal’s cityscape. This is a view snapped a few days ago of some buildings near Bleury and President-Kennedy streets.
