The tour guide who safely led our party through the Lower Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona, last month took a lot of his time to point out rock formations that happened to resemble people’s faces or animals in battle. Frankly, I had some trouble seeing some of them … but this one was easy to visualize — cock your head and look straight up to find “Rocky Mountain”.

This neat sign with vintage-looking typography marks the location of the Phoenix Public Market and adjacent café in downtown Phoenix. The exterior space is a parking lot most of the time but turns into a market on Saturday mornings.

This is some of the public art embedded in the ground at one of the light-rail stations in Phoenix, Arizona — a really neat way to make such project really accessible to the public.
