Some distinctive art features added to the streetlights in Phoenix, Arizona, as captured on a visit there in 2015.

Galaxy of artificial fireflies

A view from a cool piece of art that on display at the Phoenix Art Museum.

“You Who Are Getting Obliterated in the Dancing Swarm of Fireflies” by artist Yayoi Kusama, above, is a darkened house of mirror filled with strings of colour-changing LEDs.

Below, I had some fun with the camera while inside the art display.

Phoenix, Arizona

So … something is happening to these bears … I just have no idea what. This mural was spotted just off Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix back in December.

Phoenix, Arizona

Another of the fantastic murals to be found in Phoenix, Arizona. I came across this one in April 2016. (It’s a shame some low-life decided to vandalize this.)

Multiple angles

Not quite sure what this is … spotted on the streets of Phoenix, Arizona, back in December.

Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A.

Here’s another one of Phoenix’s jaw-dropping murals — a portion of it anyhow. There’s a lot going on here, in what appears to be an underwater universe. Snapped this shot back in December.

Happy utensil

This cutlery dispenser is, apparently, very pleased to serve customers.

Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A.

This breakfast joint has moved down the street in downtown Phoenix … with hope this wonderful oxidized sign will rejoin the business some day.

Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A.

Although I’m not sure streetcars ever ran on Central Ave. in Phoenix, Arizona, this retro-looking sign is cool nonetheless.
