These signs, recovered in the aftermath of the First World War and now displayed at the Imperial War Museum in London, helped soldiers navigate the maze of trenches on the front lines.

A Spitfire, foreground, a Harrier, background, and a V1 flying bomb bottom right of frame, hang from the ceiling in the atrium of the Imperial War Museum London. The museum produced a video in 2014 to show how they got the Harrier into the building and suspended it for exhibition.
