One of the newer buildings at Concordia University’s downtown (Sir George Williams) campus in Montreal.
Very cool foyer, lots of art exhibited inside. Wish it was around when I studied there!

Sorry for the long gap between posts — but yes, I’m still here.
For the Family Day long weekend, I thought it would be great to go up the Calgary Tower to take in the view.
I’d never been there before and the weather was absolutely gorgeous on the Monday afternoon.
I wasn’t the only one admiring the awesome city vistas from up there:

Here’s an unexpected photo capture. I was in the last car of a No. 7 subway train as it was leaving Main St. station in Flushing. I decided to try a long-exposure shot inside the tunnel when all of a sudden there was no more tunnel and we were in broad daylight. This is the result.

Lots of rain, plus spring melt and you start to get scenes like this.
The lower pathways on both sides of the Bow River @ Centre St. were closed to the public because of this.
Of course the situation is much worse in lower-lying areas across southern Alberta this weekend.
