It’s fun when someone else is driving … otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to snap these shots.
The first two were shot on the approach to Sedona, Arizona, from the south.
The third was taken in ranch country east of Prescott Valley, after coming down the winding, hilly road from Jerome, Arizona, on the long route back to Phoenix.
Thanks to my sister for her excellent piloting on this beautiful Saturday back in November.

Visiting Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle is like immersing one-self in an other-worldly experience. So many delicate pieces of glass art created in funky shapes and bathed in just the right kind and right amount of light … it’s almost magical.

Passing through San Francisco in a series of long layovers last month, I came upon the Ferry Building, all decked out in lights, presumably to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Panama-Pacific International Exhibition.
