This is a view of the sleeping car hallway as we rolled down the track from Köln to Berlin … as seen with my smartphone camera through the peephole in the door. Shot on my travels through Europe this past September.
Here’s a view inside the train shed at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, in some photos taken back in September 2015. I quite like how the roof is reflected in the windshield of the train waiting at Track 21, below.
When I can swing it, I pick a church tower and climb the stairs to some kind of observation deck at the top. The effort is usually rewarded with such a commanding view as this one in Hamburg, Germany, captured in August 2014.
