Inspired by love

Well … this is certainly one way to look at COVID-19! Seen on a building on 17 Avenue S.W. in Calgary recently.

The design mimics that used in the often-seen artwork spelling out the word “love,” such as this version in Old Montreal, below, captured about 10 years ago.

Love

Official Bigfoot Search Vehicle

Let’s take a brief break from my last batch of travel photos and spend a little bit of time closer to home.

Caught this van on one of my morning walks around Calgary last month. It’s clear this is a specialized operation!

Voyage en tricycle

Spotted on Rachel Street, near Jeanne-Mance Park, in Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood earlier this year.

Bonheur éphémère

This ice cream cone is topped with bitter sprinkles, clearly … painted on a wall along Avenue Mont-Royal in Montreal.

Étourdissant

Don’t stare too hard! This swirly pattern was found at the entrance of an apartment building in Montreal.
