Fishies, octopi and otters, oh my! Here are a handful of snapshots from the Seattle Aquarium. The giant octopus, immediately below, was released to the sea a few days after I visited.

This is a piece of art called The Winner, which is installed along 8 Ave. S.W. between 7 and 8 St. in downtown Calgary. The image was edited in part with the iOS version of iPhoto, to add a tilt-shift style effect.

Samis Rd. just below Rotary Park is one of my favourite viewpoints for photographing downtown Calgary. Just one downside: The Calgary Tower isn’t visible from this angle.
I guess I’ll have to take another visit to Scotsman’s Hill instead. One of these days. 🙂
