Banff, Alberta, Canada

The Cascade Gardens (or Cascade of Time Gardens), a beautiful, landscaped green space, surround the Parks Canada administration building in the town of Banff.

Spotted in a newly reopened portion of the Devonian Gardens, an enclosed public park atop some shopping centres in downtown Calgary.

Tranquil escape from Berlin’s hustle and bustle

Berlin, Germany

Adjacent to Charlottenburg Palace in Berlin is a luscious urban park, a bit of an oasis embedded in the heart of Germany’s capital city. Walk past the well-manicured flower gardens adjacent to the palace buildings, above, to find something a little more untamed, like this quiet spot below. These photos are from my visit to Berlin last year.
