One of only a handful of images I was able to capture in Tallinn, Estonia, on a day-trip in August 2014 from Helsinki, Finland. While I was eating lunch, the sky opened up and down came torrential downpours for the rest of the afternoon. That day, I learned my camera had weather sealing, while my rain jacket had lost its impermeability.

From a brief visit to Hamburg almost three years ago … this is the clock tower at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church. I can tell you it’s a long climb to the top — great cardio exercise at the very least, rewarded with nice views if you like that sort of thing.

When visiting London, Canada House is truly hard to miss, what with its bevy of Canadian flags on the building’s exterior and its prime location on Trafalgar Square.
