The lovely view from the Peace Bridge a couple of weeks ago, before the weather turned cold and the snow began to fly. Calgary was blessed with many weeks to enjoy the fall colours, as opposed to the much shorter period we’re accustomed to around these parts.

A real bird feeder … but most certainly a pretend bird, spotted in Calgary’s Sunnyside neighbourhood recently. There are in fact a series of artful bird feeders hanging from trees outside this residential property.
